From outset it was evident that this hard-working couple had assembled a talented interior designer and an exceptional team of trades and that this home was going to be something special.

With the client’s goals firmly in mind we set out to incorporate technology in a way that wouldn’t detract from the home’s beautiful décor. We started by installing the electronics in the basement where they could be placed out of sight and in a dedicated electronics rack. By keeping the various “black boxes” out of the home’s living spaces we were able to hide wiring and not take up valuable cabinet space.

With multiple rooms of music we chose to implement in-ceiling speakers which feature low profile, frameless architectural grills allowing them to visibly blend in with the ceiling.

The rest of the home’s high performance capabilities include full audio and video distribution, a robust WiFi network and a complete camera surveillance system. These are all supported by Elan Home Systems award winning gSC10 controller through dedicated remotes and its app. As a result, the client can even access all of the homes’ systems even while on vacation.

For enhanced reliability, the entire system is connected to Panamax’s advanced power management solution which allows us to diagnose and troubleshoot the system remotely.
